This shift is leading toward a more balanced or even a slight buyer’s market.
While mortgage rates have recently fallen to around 6%, prices remain stable, with the median home price staying consistent at approximately $617,500. Inventory is also rising, giving buyers more options and creating more negotiation opportunities​.
However, sellers are still seeing strong outcomes, especially for properties that are priced realistically and in desirable areas​.
Overall, while the market is cooling compared to the high-demand peaks of recent years, it still remains active with opportunities for both buyers and sellers.
