The Champion – first designed by Tom and George Fazio and recently reimagined by Jack Nicklaus (The Golden Bear) – ranks as the most difficult course in Florida. Each winter, the course draws the world’s top players to compete in the Honda Classic, a premier event on the PGA TOUR. The course is infamous for its challenging three-hole stretch – The Bear Trap – named after Nicklaus himself.
